    Analysis and documentation of complex data and analytics requirements, including research and quant use cases as well as front/middle office operational flows

Identify, analyze and interpret trends/patterns in complex data sets

Data analysis, modelling, mapping and gap analysis across vendor solutions and disparate legacy platforms

Design and development of data comparison and validation tools to support gap analysis of vendor solutions versus requirements

Design and development of prototype solutions and workflows, assessment of alternative solution options and recommendations with supporting rationale

Pro-active and independent engagement with business and technology partners of varying associate/management levels to ensure clarity of the problem/opportunity and elicit business requirements, questioning and challenging where necessary

Communication with vendors to ensure requirements and solutions are clearly articulated and understood by all parties

Ensure that documentation is high quality, thorough and complete, well understood by all parties and enables sign-off

Ensure project deliverable timelines are met and business priorities are delivered

Support technical partners with business SME knowledge

Actively participate in agile process, provide regular status updates to Scrum Masters/Project Managers

Identify risks and issues with prompt escalation and proposals for mitigating action

Assist Project Managers with planning and supporting tasks

Work closely with Project Managers to ensure stakeholders are fully engaged

    Qualifications

    Strong business understanding of investment management data, operational processes and data lifecycle across front, middle and back-office

Strong experience implementing security reference mastering solutions (e.g. Bloomberg PolarLake, Markit EDM/Cadis, Eagle) – Bloomberg PolarLake highly preferred

Expert in Bloomberg Data License – Bulk/Back Office files, Per security, B-PIPE, API

Experience and understanding of a broad range of asset classes including Equities, Fixed Income, Money Market, Mortgages, FX, Derivatives, Municipals

Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills; demonstrated ability to employ fact-based decision-making to resolve complex problems

Agile/Scrum practices, principles, mindset and tools e.g. Rally, JIRA

Strong SQL proficiency
