    Title: SAP HRIS Specialist  Location: Lake Forest, IL  Rate - 100-130$/ hour depending on experience     Job Summary:    An additional resource is required to support the US payroll project for the conversion of one business unit from ADP payroll to our existing SAP HR payroll system and processes for US.  The project has just kicked off and has a go-live of January 2020.  The primary role of the person will be performing data analysis, review, conversion, load to SAP, and ensure quality control of the data. As a member of the HRIS team, support various activities to other HRIS team members, project IT team, payroll, benefits and Finance teams. Particular areas of emphasis will include providing complex, non-routine analytical, technical, and operational support to the HRIS team.  Additional responsibilities include working closely with the business and IT teams within the Human Resources community throughout all phases of project implementation and problem resolution.  Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  Tenneco may make reasonable accommodations to enable people with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position.    •	Creation, loading and verifying of various PA and Payroll infotype data loads in SAP. Take self-directed lead in analyzing data, transforming and loading to SAP.   •	Work with legacy HR system team by providing the requirements of the data required for SAP and gather the data extracts from legacy team.  •	Updating Org Structures, creating Jobs and Positions using mass loads.   •	Testing the changes made by IT team in Personnel administration and benefits interfaces and supporting payroll team with end-to-end payroll testing as part of user testing and Parallel testing.  •	Create test data and performing testing to confirm the changes made by IT team adhere to the business requirements.  •	Testing interfaces by generating test files, verifying the file contents, and accuracy of the data and working with the third party team members

    Qualifications

    to test the interface files.  •	Design, update and execute Adhoc reports in SAP and analyze and transform the data using Excel or Access skills.  •	Provide training for process changes and maintenance of HR application skills across HR user community.  •	Work with Payroll processing team for implementation of payroll in SAP and testing and validation of payroll results.  •	Compare payroll results from SAP and legacy payroll system as part of the parallel testing using excel skills and be able to identify the common master data and configuration issues causing the payroll issues in SAP.     Education / Experience / Skills:  •	College degree preferably in Information systems or related Business degree.  •	7 or more years of HRIS system support in SAP HCM module. Knowledge of FI integration is a plus.  •	Experience supporting SAP HCM in Personnel Administration, Organization management, Payroll and Benefits modules and interfaces to external systems is necessary.  •	Strong data analytical and testing skills.  •	Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  •	Demonstrated ability to work in a team and in a demanding environment under specified deadlines.  •	Ability to travel as needed.  •	Skills Required: SAP HCM, Excel, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Access is a plus
