Technical Consultant Skills & Experience

Minimum 5 years’ experience developing web based Java applications and web service integrations.

Facilitate one or more project scrum teams, who are responsible for solution delivery against the definition of done

Facilitate the project scrum team’s progress toward the release goals and ensure the team is focused on clear goals for each sprint.

Ensure the project scrum team backlog refinement, estimation, risk management, sprint and release planning activities are completed as required and manage technical inter-dependencies outside of you team responsibilities.

Measure, track and review development quality, delivery and team effectiveness and constantly improving the team working practices through retrospectives.

Escalation point for team issues when they occur, with involvement from PM, Development Managers and Test Leads.

Daily support and operational management of your development team, with a focus on improving team effectiveness. Create a supportive and healthy environment that will foster employee development.

Conducting performance appraisals, identifying training, team motivation, and such other leadership tasks as may by delegated from time to time.

Contribute to the on-going evolution of the Professional Services development SDLC and release processes. Continually evaluate new tools, procedures and processes for the opportunity to improve and keep pace with an effective development methodology

Resource management of team, ensuring utilization targets are achieved and assignment of resources to project scrum teams.

Promote and live the FINEOS values and increase positive relations with team, customers, prospects and partners.

Flexibility and willingness to travel to client sites when necessary
