-This is a hands on administrator position that requires platform experience.

-They are ONLY upgrading Confluence. Candidates can have experience with additional platforms, but it is not required.

-The person in this role does not have to have specific industry experience.

-This application is an on-premise application. It offers a cloud option, but the department is not looking to move to that option at this time.

-This department is looking to update their Confluence system up to their current version, as they are versions behind (According to the manager, this type of upgrade will take up to 2 years).

-Candidates will need to have experience with administering Confluence’s current version, or the version behind the current version. Experience should ideally be in the last year.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required

• 8-10 years experience required

• A solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design

• large systems software design and development experience

• Experience performing in-depth troubleshooting and unit testing with both new and legacy production systems

• experience in programming and experience with problem diagnosis and resolution
