As a Senior Infrastructure engineer you will be working with a cross functional team of software-, test- and infrastructure engineers responsible for client's software solutions and SaaS platform. We're looking for a person that is passionate about automation, scale, performance, security, and clean code.
Our vision is to establish seamless delivery of our latest features directly to our customers with as little fuzz and manual labor as possible.
You will provide technical leadership in developing infrastructure solutions that fulfill the needs of client's software development teams. You will collaborate with multiple internal teams to create a coherent system architecture and resolve inter-dependencies, empowering embedded Infrastructure Engineers with the tools and knowledge they need as members of diverse product development teams. You will develop a team of Infrastructure Engineers, responsible for the development and maintenance of our solutions from an operational perspective.
Your projects will include designing and rolling out containerized environments. Your goal is to create an infrastructure that allows development teams to own the lifecycle of their services, including the continuous deployment pipelines to our integration, test and production environments. Furthermore you are expected to drive best practices for e.g. logging, monitoring and alerting within software development.
This position requires you to attend early morning meetings (7am onwards), and you must have the possibility of travelling to Europe if needed. Marel can hire candidates who already have valid H1-B visa.Depending on the COVID-19 situation, interviews may take place over video conferencing.
