    Responsibilities:
    


     
    


    •  Builds OBIEE reports and dashboards using BI Publisher, Answers and Dashboards
    


    •  Models, configures and optimizes the RPD/Universes from Data Warehouse (OLAP) and databases (OLTP)
    


    •  Develop, implement, and maintain data cubes, loading data, dimensions, calculating data and aggregation
    


       techniques
    


    •  Design, develop, and document OBIEE repository/metadata
    


    •  Configures Ad Hoc query and Reporting environments
    


    •  Building geospatial reports/dashboards
    


    •  Developing MS Office based content using Oracle Office tools
    


    •  Assists in OBIEE administration, system maintenance, and upgrades
    


    •  Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues with minimal user disruption
    


    •  Working in a team environment to develop reports and/or dashboards while working as a team member on an
    


       assigned project
    


    •  Works with business users to gather reporting/analytics requirements
    


    •  Perform unit, system and integration testing
    


    •  Manage capacity and performance requirements
    


    •  Close engagement with Enterprise Architects, Data Warehousing, Database, and Server Administration
    


       teams in collaborative design
    


    •  Provide design and development mentorship/cross-training with fellow team members
    


    •  Deliver solid, scalable, robust BI reporting/analytic solutions
    


    •  Assists in the administration and implementation of BI system/system security
    


    •  Prepare estimates of time for design and development

    Qualifications

    Required Skills:
    


     
    


    •  8+ years of IT development experience
    


    •  5+ years of experience in writing PL/SQL, SQL*Plus, etc.
    


    •  5+ years of experience as an Oracle BI development using OBIEE with deep expertise in RDP
    


       design/development
    


    •  4 year Bachelor’s degree with preferred concentration in IT, data science, or business
    


    •  2+ years of experience with star-schema, snowflake, FACT, and dimensional data modeling
    


    •  2+ years of experience with OBIEE Answers, Dashboards, and  BI Publisher
    


    •  Demonstrated experience in designing, building, implementing, and deploying data universes/data models
    


       against Oracle and SQL Server databases
    


    •  Experience with Business Objects, Crystal Reports, and Reporting Services
    


    •  Experience with creating dashboards and performance metric based reporting
    


    •  Strong knowledge of RDBMS – MS SQL Server 2008/2012, Oracle 11g/12c
    


    •  Demonstrated experience in designing, building, implementing, and deploying enterprise reports, analytics,
    


       and dashboards
    


    •  Experience with deploying/upgrading BI systems
    


    •  Ability to extrapolate business requirements, practices, and procedures
    


    •  Ability to meet deadlines and deliver high quality work products
    


    •  Experience in producing test cases/scenarios
    


    •  Experience in data analysis, data profiling and validation
    


    •  Complete working knowledge of OBIEE user, object and data security and caching capabilities.
    


    •  Able to use complex expressions to calculate, group, filter, parameterize, optimize and format contents of
    


       reports/analytics
    


    •  Must be skilled and experienced with graphical elements and filtered/layered reporting with drill down
    


       capabilities
    


    •  Understand how to use XML, and XSL for advanced report features and formatting
    


    •  Ability to design reports in a logical, user friendly, and easy to understand format
    


    •  Must be able to write technical documentation
    


    •  Highly organized with the ability to multi-task
