    DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
    
Install, Configure, And Troubleshoot Network Devices And Their Operating Systems. Document All Changes To Lan/Wan/Man Using Various Methods (Visio, Spreadsheet, Software). Monitor Network Performance And Utilization While Ensuring The Network Remains Healthy And Functional. Maintain Services, Applications And Their Operating Systems Including Dns, Ise, Syslog, And Wireless Control Systems. Provide Reporting Using Available Tools On Various Network Services (Utilization, Availability, Etc).

    Qualifications

    REQUIRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):
    
• At Least Two (2) Years Of Relevant Experience Working In A Large, Complex Network Environment
    
• Knowledge Of Lan, Wan, And Man Design And Support
    
• Knowledge Of Data Transport Such As Mpls And Metroethernet
    
• Knowledge Of Routing Protocols Such As Bgp And Ospf
    
• Knowledge Of Tcp/Ip
    
• Knowledge Of Vlans, 802.1q Trunking
    
• Knowledge Of Wireless Networking
    
• Knowledge Of Voip Design And Support
    
• Knowledge Of Network Monitoring Tools Such As Solarwinds
    
• Knowledge Of Network Access Control (Nac)
    
• Knowledge Of Security Standards Such As Nist
    
• Knowledge Of Compliance Requirements Such As Pci And Hipaa
    
• Skilled In Managing Multiple Connections To Service Providers
    
• Skilled In Managing Multiple Projects At The Same Time
    
• Ability To Communicate Effectively Verbally And In Writing
    
• Ability To Work Multiple Tasks With Competing Priorities
    
• Ability To Work Both Solo And In A Team Environment
    

    
REQUIRED EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
    
Bachelor’s Degree Related To Information Technology. Relevant Experience May Be Substituted On A Year-For-Year Basis.
