Test design adequacy and operating effectiveness of security, resiliency and operational controls within applications and infrastructure hosted in the public cloud (Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure). Report controls deficiencies along with risk remediation options.
Opine on the maturity of the Firm’s control framework related to
use of Public Cloud Services. Assist Internal Audit in assessing adequacy of Firm’s
cloud architecture
and framework against industry best practices like NIST, CSA, etc. and applicable regulatory requirements.
Strong experience in banking and capital markets space.
Consultant with s
trong enterprise wide cloud program implementation expertize (not engineer but more on the program/process side) with limited audit expertise.
Qualifications
6-8 years of hands-on experience assessing security, resiliency and operational controls within public cloud
deployments over Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure.
Familiarity with tools like
CloudFormation, Terraform, Prisma, PagerDuty, JSON and YAML required.
Good understanding of generally accepted
cloud computing frameworks, architectures
, industry best practices and
regulatory requirements.
