Candidate Responsibilities
Create concepts and final designs for wiring harnesses and mounting of electrical components in modeling software (Creo, Electric Lines). Collaborate with other design teams when applicable. Collaborate with suppliers during procurement of parts for test or production. Provide engineering support during factory and field builds when required.
Typical Day
Attend project meetings to refine requirements and address design issues. Work on concepts and models for electrical installation. Read schematics and request changes to schematic team when required. Assign detailing tasks to offshore partners and review their work. Collaborate with other teams via email and phone calls/virtual meetings as required.
Qualifications
Education Requirement
Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
Technical Skills Required
Ability to model parts in Creo (preferred) or Pro-E.
Ability to read schematics and engineering prints.
Able to use Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Teams, Word, Powerpoint)
Troubleshooting, problem solving skills
Soft Skills Required
Good communication (English) and teamwork skills. Ability to fill learning gaps quickly, ability to present ideas and gain team and manager buy-in. Ability to assign tasks to other less-experienced engineers.
