    The role of DevOps Engineer interfaces with key stakeholders and applies technical proficiency to help automated different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle for bespoke and vendor software development teams. This role is important in creating new Enterprise DevOps standards for the entire company. This role works with Technical Leads from various agile development teams to build Quality into the SDLC and provide auditable data to support the Change Management process.
    

    
Required Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:
    
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution
    
• At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
    
• At least 1 year experience in a regulated industry requiring compliance standards (SOX, SSAE-18, FERPA, HIPPA, ISO-27001)
    

    
Preferred:
    
• At least 5 years of previous experience in .NET/SQL/JAVA software design and development (Web Application and/or Web Services) with DevOps and Agile Methodology
    
• At least 4 years of experience with DevOps and automation frameworks, including Bamboo, Jenkins or equivalent.
    
o Experience configuring Pull Request in Git/BitBucket
    
o Experience configuring automated polling for CI build process
    
o Expertise with Web Application and Web Services Development, Unit-Testing and Automation Testing (Selenium or Kotalon) integration with CI tools.
    
o Expertise with Maven or Gradle.
    
o Expertise with database release automation
    
o Experience with SonarQube (for code quality scan).
    
• Expertise with Git-based source repositories such as Bitbucket or Github, and understanding of branching strategies in Git.
    
• Experience with managing artifact repositories such as Nexus or Artifactory.
    
• Experience with setting up a CI/CD pipeline from ground up.
    
• Experience with one or more scripting languages, e.g.: shell, Perl, Python, Ruby, or Groovy.
    
• Experience administering software on Linux and Windows operating systems.
    
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence
    
• Good understanding of agile development methodology
    
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
    
• Analytical skills
    
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment

    Qualifications

    • Experience with HP PPM Deployment Module for Oracle EBS
    
• CI integration with Veracode Security code scan
    
• Experience with JFrog XRay.
    
• Experience with Kubernetes / GCP.
    
• Experience with Docker image creation and deployment.
    
• JIRA integrations with other tools like ServiceNow and/or TestRails.
    
• CI integrations with Slack for communications.
    
• Elastic Search.
    
• CI integrations with SOAPUI for web API testing.
    
• CI integrations with JMeter or other performance testing tool.
    
• Experience administering the Atlassian suite and JFrog tools.
    
• Experience with legacy SCM tools like CVS and SVN.
    
•Design and develop robust backend solutions for App Dev, Enterprise and end users.
    
•Experience working with scripting languages such as Perl, Python etc and having worked in Linux/Unix environments. Scripting with bash/sh is a must
    
•Ability to redefine the existing software architecture within the org by examining the existing systems and executing new practices.
    
•Designing and implementing a robust CI/CD environment using BitBucket and/or other leading DevOps pipelines.
    
•Deploying and managing the microservices created by the development teams, using Docker and Kubernetes.
    
•Experience with the following tools: BitBucket pipeline, Jenkins, GIT, SonarQube, Veracode, New Relic, Vault, Jira, Confluence, Docker, Lambda, Kubernetes. Must be experienced with artifact management and promotion, experience with JFrog Artifactory desired.
    
•Docker experience and the ability to build and deploy containers is a must
    
•Experienced with Cloud Architecture, preferably with AWS
