As a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer on our team, you will be responsible for leading the concept of quality while assessing and advocating high quality across an increasing amount of customized consumer experiences. Along with Product and Software Developers, you are a subject matter expert on everything we test and build. Ideal Candidate will-

Monitor, analyze, and test software during development in order to ensure quality.
Use your coding and testing skills to help software developers enhance the product performance.
Advocate quality in every stage of the SDLC.
For this position, it is essential to have responsibility, a zeal for delivery, good time management habits and a fun attitude while working with some amazing people.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with SCRUM/project team members and user to understand the key processes and technologies within the Applications for the supported business functions.
Identify problems, generate alternatives, and recommend solutions within defined processes.
Identify and reproduce defects in software and systems.
Document test results to support the resolution of problems and to capture defect data.
Obtain solid understanding of requirements and technical implications, recommending updates as needed.
Execute test plans, performance, regression, and load testing while validating that the sites, apps and systems meet design specifications and requirements.
Triage defects and report on defect impacts.
Recommend modifications to standard testing processes to improve quality and effectiveness.
Leads in the development, publishing and implementation of automation test procedures, scripting standards, automation planning, test configuration, schedules and related documentation for software testing related to conversion, upgrade or change
Special projects as requested
Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications


	Bachelor’s degree in IT preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted in lieu of degree
	Understanding of the development and implementation of a Quality Assurance structure and knowledge of best practices.
	Has 1 - 3 years of proven working experience as a QA Automation Engineer.
	1+ years of experience debugging and troubleshooting software engineering issues
	Some experience in testing frontend User Interfaces and web services using restful Application Programming Interfaces
	Some experience in using HTML, CSS, JavaScript framework (such as Angular, React)
	Some experience in using test tools such as Selenium, JMeter, Puppeteer, and Cucumber
	Knowledge of web application architecture hosted on cloud platforms such as MS Azure
	Ability to manage and/or monitor the Quality Assurance activities associated with a discipline or project.
	Ability to complete all work tasks in a timely manner while remaining flexible to competing demands and adjust priorities.
	Ability to manage one or more simultaneous projects.
	Ability to maintain confidentiality
