The purpose of this work package is to perform Demand Planning.
    
Description:
    

    
One of the Genpact – demand planning team member will manage the below list of duties for Aerospace client. Also, Team member will need functional knowledge of demand forecasting, data analytics and in depth understanding of inventory management.
    

    
Requirements:
    
Process requires resource to work with the forecasters & planning teams within Aerospace client’s team.
    
• Statistical Forecasting and Consensus Demand Planning
    
• Planning level selection (time, channel, product)
    
• Rapid Response based Statistical Forecast
    
• Historical Data analytics (Outlier corrections)
    
• Consensus Demand Planning using demand + forecast horizontal table and graphs
    
• Statistical Disaggregation using historical mix from determined planning level to sub-levels
    
• Promotion & Special Bid Planning
    

    
Deliverables:
    

    
Genpact will be responsible to support all aspects of Demand planning and Inventory Management. Also, Team member will have to collaborate effectively with client counterparts to make sure all forecast is updated with latest market intel.
    
 

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:
    

    
Minimum qualifications
    
• MBA and Masters / Engineering (Aeronautical or any specialization)
    
• Any SCM certifications
    

    
Must have skills:
    
· Functional knowledge of demand forecasting, spare parts planning and in depth understanding of inventory management
    
· Working knowledge on MS-Excel and MS-Access
    
· Good to have Kinaxis (RapidResponse) knowledge
    
· Good to have working knowledge of Data Analysis/Visualization language or BI Tool such R, Python, Power BI, Tableau etc.
    
· Candidate should have core supply chain background
    
· Preferred background: B.E./ B.Tech / MBA / (APICS certifications)
    
· Preferred: Knowledge on Forecasting Tool (Kinaxis)
